Stolen Moments
by Maya Sapera & Nayanthara Pradeep
Dance is a moment that cannot be stolen
It is a connection to the life force,
an expression of the joy of life,
the language of the soul,
a place where we are truly free.
We often believe we live in a free society, but is that really true? Do you follow your heart whenever you desire, or are those moments stolen from you?
This reflection brings to mind the story of Sudama, the childhood friend of Lord Krishna. Sent by his wife to seek Krishna’s support, Sudama is too humble to ask for help. Instead, he offers Krishna his last bit of puffed rice as a gift, expecting nothing in return. When he returns home, Sudama finds his life transformed, discovering abundance where there was once scarcity.
Just as Sudama gave freely, without expectation, dance too is a gift—a moment of pure expression, unbound by expectation or limitation. In this dance, we find our true freedom, a joy that cannot be stolen.
Maya Sapera and Nayathara Pradeep come together for the first time in this production, merging two classical Indian dance forms: Kathak and Bharatanatyam. Through their dance, they share with you the essence of giving, the joy of life, and the freedom that lies within.

Sutram
by Aric Master
Sutram is a solo performance that delves into the threads that weave together human life, culture, and faith. Incorporating a unique blend of contemporary dance and Indian folk dance elements, this piece tells the story of our shared human experience—how we are all connected by invisible threads of tradition, belief, and the search for meaning. Through expressive movements and evocative storytelling, "Sutram" brings to life the ways in which these threads shape our identities, our relationships, and our place in the world, offering a heartfelt reflection on what it means to be human
