Cycles of Presence

In this double bill Music, Visuals, and Dance blend into one sensory experience from which cycles of creation and disappearance emerge. nOqté and Tattva invite you to slow down, to be present, to immerse.

NOQTÉ

Dance, live music, and video-art flow together into one breathing universe. Colours erupt, sound moves, time slows down. Eastern traditions are transformed into a universal language of dance, music and visuals.

The pulse of a giant drum moves through the space. Live music on the scene intensifies the visual universe of light and colours while bringing movements to another dimension. As a spectator, you are not merely a viewer but a participant - emersed in a sensory experience that touches upon growth and decay, life and death, an endless cycle. You are drawn into a story where every ending invites a new beginning: The Zero Point.

The Farsi word “Noqté” - meaning “point” - refers to the Zero Point: the moment where anything is possible again. It reminds us that we are all creators as we shape our lives with our choices and interactions.

The artists of nOqté: Maya Sapera (dance), Niko Himschoot (video-art), Robbe Kieckens & Shahab Azinmehr (live music)

TATTVA

Through dance and music, the artists explore the intruiging dynamic between silence and the constant flow of our daily lives. Movement and sound become one experience, where the present and tradition meet each other. The artists are inspired by Shiva Nataraja - the cosmic dancer who creates and destroyes. While moving through stories, silence, and choas, they wonder: what does Shiva means to us in 2026?

Amber merges her background in both classical Indian dance and contemporary dance into one personal language of movement. As a multi-instrumentalist, Arnaud creates compositions and soundscapes that simbiotically pulsates live with the dance.

The artists of Tattva: Amber Bosteels (dance), Arnaud Soetens (music)

Meet the Artists of NOQTÉ

The artists take you on a journey of creativity, showing the interconnectivity between different forms of art. They cross the conventional bounadries of art with curiosity to find out how music, video-art and dance can interact.

Robbe Kieckens combines his rich cultural heritage with the constant search of new sounds and rhythms. He plays with the interactions between music and dance using cultural references.

Shahab Azinmehr entered the realm of music through singing, and later began to play the tar and setar. He is a skilled musician, who is strongly influenced by Persian music.

Niko Himschoot is formed in video-art, camerawork, projection and dramaturgy. By experimenting with the art of visualization, he illustrates how video-art interacts with dance and music as an equal force.

Maya Sapera treats her body as a source of dance and communication. Exploring the balance between tradition and innovation, she uses the language of dance to cross cultural boundaries.

Meet the Artists of TATTVA

Arnaud Soetens’ background in vocal/ music production is shaped by a diversity of genres and eras. His passion for pop and jazz is enriched by his curiosity for electronica, ambient, avant-garde and so much more. In his work, he enjoys how different forms of art come together.

Amber Bosteels explores movement as a personal language of being and expressing. As a contemporary dancer, she got inspired by classical Indian dance. She creates and performes work where these two dance styles intertwine.

A Dialogue

The performances are a dialogue between different forms of art, between different cultures, and between human beings. Therefore we invite you to a dialogue between the artists and the public. You will have the chance to ask any question about the creation processes and the performances.
